    Drive AFK sometimes.

    Well this morning my bois is randomly not seeing my harddrive and a BSOD popped up while loading L4D. Its an old 100 gig sata(Maxtor 6L100M0). It will still load windows after a few restarts.

    Is there away to revive this old beast?

    I say replace it and get data off of it before it goes belly up.

    Hard Drives are consumable resources (don't tell SJT) and they will go bad.

    The rest of the day my drive has run fine. Got a new drive from newegg.com, better safe than sorry. Nothing worse that waiting for computer parts to come in the mail.
