Nedd Router Help!!!
So my router recently has been cutting in and out (I'm using an adapter, the router is connected to my moms computer), usually all I have to do is reset it and everything works fine. So I reset it tonight, not once but twice, and it started cutting out again. Is this a sign we may need a new router (we have a crappy Belkin-G router)? And do any of you have any advice to help with the connection?
Also, if we did get a new router we were looking at a NETGEAR - RangeMax Wireless-N Gigabit Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1196470792077. My question here is, if we got this router would my G-adapter still work with it? Or would we need to also get a new adapter for my computer?
Thanks for the help :9

it's d-link I think, has a router that prioritizes gaming traffic so if some idjit in your house decides to download movies when you're ready to burst around a corner and fill someone full of lead you don't get bad things happening to you *grin* More expensive true, but the few I've spoken with who use it have been happy

I have one. The DGL-4300. Its an excellent router and I would recommend it, but the gaming feature isnt all they make it out to be. Ya it does a bit of prioritizing out of the box but it wont necessarily recognize newer games and therefore wont know what to do about prioritizing the traffic and really needs hands on configuration to optimize traffic, which can be done in most decent routers

I like the features it has for tracking usage and limiting usage.
