    Vista Aero Problems

    I reinstalled windows vista a couple of weeks ago and now whenever I want to play a game that is DX9 compatible I have to turn off Aero manually for the game to start without minimizing to the desktop. Any thoughts on why my system is acting up?

    Already tried that, in fact I got it to work by verifying my Half-Life 2 Game integrity files.
