I got the fan in but the problem is that it's right behind my video card so the fan isn't really effective. Although I did see a drop down to 69c. Still hot IMO but I might just have to run it till it dies. Ideally, I'm hoping that the temp is just reading wrong and a BIOS update I need to do will fix it.
I also installed a PCIe NIC to try and take some load off the chip as well. What all does a SB chip do?

Better safe then sorry, Cybs, especially if this is that new computer. If you have the utilities to run tests on your hardware from the Bios (here for your temperature sensors), it wouldn't hurt to do that.
