Not true... Intel has boards that support both...
care to tell me the name of the motherboard that supports both Crossfire and SLI ?
Intel and Nvidia are having serious problems getting along with each other. They just kinda both hate eachother, and i forgot which one it was but one of them pulled the plug on supporting SLi on intel boards.

The Intel Skulltrail (X58) chipset supports both.

Its really hardly an underclocked 4870.

The 4830 uses GDDR3 memory while the 4870 uses GDDR5. Which are two different technologies.
grrr It SHOULD have said Underclocked 4850. I had 4870 on my brain from reading the article.

    Nice comparison all around.
