    Re: logitech g9

I actually have an older version I cant find the pic of any more. Had it (and another before it that wasn't optical) for coming close to 15 years now.

I can't imagine moving my whole arm to aim or constantly moving the mouse back to center of the pad, or area since I hate mice pads at work.

I think the adjustable DPI would rock, I would LOVE to find a switchable DPI on a thumb mouse, unfortunately it seems the demand for them is too low.

I may have to switch someday, but I can promise it will be kicking and screaming while spilling tears over the last Trackman I could get my hands on

I use to love my Trackball. I really wish they would make some updated versions with higher DPI.

I don't have to move my whole arm to use my mouse... If you do... yer doing it wrong. With a good high DPI mouse only requires slight movements to be effective in FPS games. I think to go side-to-side on my 1600x1200 resolution monitor takes up less than 4" of real estate.

My MX500 is only a 500 dpi mouse (compared to new ones which I think are in excess of 2000), so all I have to do is jack up the sensitivity in-game... my sensitivity on Source games hovers between 14.2-15.5, depending on what I'm doing. Moving side to side on a 1024x768 screen barely takes two inches.
