Lian Li Cases...

Hello,

I'm pondering buying the PC-A70 Full Tower just cause I'm sick of cases with doors on them. I use my ROMs a lot and prefer cases without doors. My current case is the V1100 Mid Tower, though mine was generation 1, without the side fan where that grill is shown on the side.

Anyone have any feedback on the A70? Any known design defects or compatibility issues?

Any suggestions?

Lian li makes some excellent cases. Some of the best.
One of the childrens PCs is a handmedown with one of the cheaper li cases from years back and its like a rock.

I own two Antec 900's and I would find it tough still today to replace either. Not sure on the price point of these cases but if they were more expensive than the 900 I would have to say they are not worth it.

Youve never actually felt up a Li then nuckle, they are of outstanding quality. Antec makes good cases, li makes excellent ones.

Actually.... he USED to be known as Finger, till he got caught feeling one too many things, now that the problem has been addressed, its just Nuckle. Sad really, think how much more functional he could be if he had a complete finger.

I paid $250 for my V1100 case. Well worth it. I've built a lot of PCs in my years and Lian Li is still my favorite manufacturer. I admit Thermaltake has some very nice stuff too, they're pretty.

That antec 900 is okay. Not my taste. Not interested in LEDs or windows etc. I like sleek and 100% aluminum. Doors are okay - the PC A71 is NICE!

My only reason for not liking doors is the numerous times a week I have to use the DVD roms.

Cooler Master also makes excellent cases... from the $60 range to the $250 range. They put out an excellent product. The Zalman Z-Machine series cases are also really nice. Another great company is Silverstone.

I like the Lian Li cases because they have the classic look. They are great quality cases, but if you are looking for extreme cooling, I would suggest going with Cooler Master, Antec, or Thermaltake.
