Samsung is a great TV...I have the 52 inch one of these basically and love it. I bought a Sony originally and took it back, I thought it looks terrible. I also had a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma that I liked as well, but I really enjoy my samsung on high def now.

    IPS Panel

That's the only place I could find it, since newegg is out of stock.

I asked the guy if I could have it for $549, since that's what it was on sale for last week...and he agreed.

    *BUMP*

So, I have that Panasonic and if I buy a DVD player for the bedroom it will be Blu-Ray.

My question is this. Will Blu-Ray still look decent at 720p?

Below 40" at the proper viewing distance, you won't notice a difference between 720 and 1080. A 1080 40" just has smaller pixels which you will only pick up if you are really close. 46" or above I'd definitely go 1080.

    Thanks.

I paid $549 for the TC-L32X1, they just lowered it to $479:

I'm going to see if they'll adjust it....they should.
