    I did some digging and it appears the OEM of your MB is ECS. See if this looks like it:

    If yes, here are your processor options:

    Socket: 775
    Supports the following processors:
    Pentium D 900 series Dual Core (Presler)
    Pentium D 800 series Dual Core (Smithfield)
    Pentium 4 500 (Prescott)
    Pentium 4 600 (Prescott)
    Celeron D (Prescott)
    Celeron D (Cedar Mill)


    Here is the bad news. ECS MBs do not overclock worth a sh#t.

    Tomorrow I go to buy a processor from my local store. The prices seem reasonable.

    Oh joy, when I bought a processor it did not work... Getting a new one possibly, or we'll take it back and wait a wile, I might have more money soon enough and end up getting a new PC all together.
