    Re: PC Failure

Well, my drivers used to fail as often as I'm rebooting now, they used to fail daily when I was out of game and I lived with it, but now it just reboots instead of (drivers)failing.

I had a friends computer do this. It ended up being his PSU. Once he swapped out the old with the new everything ran great. Whats your PSU Wattage and how old is it?

Are those the latest NVIDIA drivers? There's another thread where people that installed the May 6 drivers are getting massive problems, that could be it.

it wouldn't be nvidia if Cecil was right in saying Ruukil is running a Radeon.

If you've overclocked your GPU, most times, you also have to adjust your memory timings and CPU frequencies. With a 15Mhz adjustment you might not have to but most of the time i've always had to adjust memory.

I'm not at home right now, but my PSU is about 5 years old, it's not in production anymore. In fact I'm pretty sure I don't want to replace anyhting.

Fuck it, I need a new PC, anyone care to donate to the 'Ruuky for a new PC' fund?

If you invest in a new power supply and limp along on your current rig until you can afford a new one, the power supply could transfer into whatever new rig you build. Just a little food for thought.

So far that has been what I've done. I've limped along on a new HD. Unless I can find something cheap it won't be worth it.

    Re: PC Failure

Update: I read an article about my latest drivers, apparently they suck, so mucht hat they cause my computer to fail instead of fizzling out. So I got the previous ones and I'm doing better.

    embarrassingly simple, no?
