    Well, IDFK, but I pressed every button on the KB multiple times, and no dice. Even when it comes up asking if I want to boot normal, or in safe mode, or whatever the arrow keys don't work, so WTF?

    That bites. Have you tried other USB ports? Is it maybe in a PCI USB card or something?
