Do you have a copy of XP laying around?
Soy this is all greek to me...
It does say in the bios that the flash utility supports FAT 12/16/32 No clue what this means
NFTS (read only) NO CLUE WHAT THIS MEANS
    CD- Disc (read only)
I burned the open bios folder onto a disk CD-R but it didn't work either. I think its the wrong kind of CD (Music) I will be asking at the store for a read only and if thats the same type as the disc I've tried I'm gonna freak out!

For Asus boards and the flash utility the USB card has to be formatted to FAT32. Bios cannot read NTFS format. So format the USB to fat32, copy the bios update by itself to the USB, not in a folder......... put it in the PC, turn it on and (for my board) hit <ALT> + <F2> during post. Your USB will prolly show up as a C:\ following the name of the bios update. Click on it and let it run.

    Re: Bios Doesnt flash

Issue has been resolved.... I unplugged the Hard Drive and CD Drive SATA cables from the Motherboard so the only thing the Bios Flash Tool could recognize was the USB Flash. Finally the update showed up. Next just chose the update and press enter. Up dated M4A79T Mobo Bios 902 to Bios 1202 with the AMD Phenom 2 955 Blk. I hope this helps someone else having the same issue. With a little Tweeking I got this...3DMark06=19855
