    I have the same issue with my computer not reading it. It's only the newer releases with the white ring around the center of the disc, the old ones with just the barcode on a sticker on the top normally work. I don't know what causes it though. I just thought I should let you know that you're not the only one having this issue. I'd hate to have to move the dvd player in my room just to not sit in the living room. lol

    maybe the DVD got magnetized or if its burned (copy) i've had problems with those on my older comp
