    CCleaner on an SSD?

    Hey et alia,

I have SSD hard drives. I learned from these forums to turn off defrag, but it made me wonder. I run CCleaner every boot to get rid of the detritus left on my computer from the last boot. Based on the issues about defraging, should I not run this? Will it wear my babies down? Thanks.

Doubtful. While any access will necessarily "wear" your drive, CCleaner doesn't use any special process to delete files; it works just like the OS, simply "forgetting" that the data was there by making edits to the master table/journal of files.
