How do I change the multiplier? Do I need another 3rd party progarm?

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I really appreciate em.
133 is the bus speed. Which is correct. Not sure why your multiplier is showing 12.5 instead of 13.5 though. But you are still underclocked. It's showing 266 because that's just 133x2. Normal.

The multiplier will be set in the bios under advanced chipset features. That chip should be unlocked (if it's not the feature won't be changable) and will be titled Cpu Frequency Multiple. I checked your motherboard manual to verify this. Change it to 13.5 and reboot. That will make your 2200+ run at 1.8Ghz like it's supposed to. Right now you are just at 1.66ghz.

Don't worry about the memory settings. They look normal.

    Re: FSB?

As far as I know, there was never a 2200+ Barton chip so if you say that your processor is a 2800+ then the mobo is not picking up the correct processor. I would start of by updating the bios on your motherboard.

    http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx

Your bios version is from 10/06/2003 and there are newer releases from 08/10/2004 and 09/27/2005. If those bios release do not fix the cpu issue then you will have to manually set it but they should correct the issue. If you have it manually set now, I would suggest setting the bios back to defaults and running cpu-z again.

If you do have a 2800+ then you might want to check the product number and if it does match below, you will have to manually configure you mobo to match. Part # AXDA2800DKV4D
    Athlon XP 2800+
    2083 MHz
    512 KiB
    333 MT/s
    12.5x
    1.65 V
    68.3 W

Also, it looks like you only have 1 stick of ram, is that correct? Your particular motherboard would run better with 2 sticks of identical ram setup in dual channel mode.

I would also make sure that you have the latest drivers from the asus page and the latest nvidia nforce drivers

I didn't even catch that it said Barton. You are right. There was no Barton 2200+. The 2200+ is a thoroughbred.

That would seem to indicate you are correct that the bios needs an update. Once he does that it should probably identify it as a 2200+ thoroughbred assuming it's not cpu-z flaking out.

    Re: FSB?

Had to install an old floppy disk drive in my PC to update the bios. Think I've gotten things sorted out now.

    Thanks for all the help!!
