Thread: Annoying ass problem.

Alright you IT guys, got a little bit of a problem and it is annoying me like crazy! So the other day i reinstalled BF2 and restarted my computer. Once my computer booted back up, my DVD/CD drive wouldnt work. It opens, closes and looks like it about to read and then it fails. So i did a system restore blah de blah and still nothing. So i thought the drive was just dead, so i ordered a new one. Just hooked up the new one today and guess what, no workie. I dont think its the motherboard because it shows the drive in BIOS and in my Device Manager. When i click on it in the Device Manager it says this in the window "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" It said the same thing for my old drive as well. Does anybody have ANY idea what the hell is goin on here?
