The only thing I can't get to work is the front audio jacks on my case. This one has me totally stumped.

    The BIOS is updated
    The chipset drivers are updated
The BIOS has the front audio jack selected as enabled and "HD Audio"
The HD Audio cable is plugged into the appropriate place on the motherboard, as is the front USB plug

The front USB works but I got nada on the sound. Very annoying.

    Any ideas?
Stupid question, but bear with me here. :P

Have you clicked on the little speaker icon in your system tray and picked a default audio out? It might depend on your soundcard and OS, but in some cases you have to tell it you are using the front port.

Also you mentioned that it was set to HD Audio in bios. There are two audio types using the same connector if it's like my card and you might just have it enabled as the wrong type.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

    I've tried both.

And in the ACL1200 settings panel it shows which jacks have stuff plugged into them and the front jacks show as empty even if there are plugs in them. It's like the computer doesnt even know they are there.

Well the 300 has connectors for both AC97 and HDA. So... Make sure you have the HDA plug hooked to the motherboard. Make sure the bios has HD Audio chosen in advanced settings and that High Definition Audio is enabled as well... And that you have SPDIF checked for SPDIF mode setting and not HDMI...

Other than that, that's all you should have to do.
