Buying first ATI card- Which one should I get?

I'm building up a new computer and this time I went with a Crossfire solution. Since it's my first and I know virtually nothing about ATI, which cards should I get? I was thinking of just going with the 4890 and checking which one has the best review but I wanted to check here to see what you guys recommend.

Yes, I'll be buying 2 of them and doing Crossfire.

You can wait until early next year to buy the dx11 cards or you can get good prices on the 4890's.

If you want go with the 2gb Sapphire version of the 4890.

Hope you are running some high resolutions.

not only high resolutions but I have a 26" monitor.

Now that you mention it... I wonder if I should just get 1 card for how and wait on thhe DX11 ones?

That would work.

When I tested one 4890 in my machine I held 60fps in all games no problem. That was at 1920x1200 on 24in.
