Latin.. How much is that machine going to run you?

Get the EVGA X58 SLI LE for the motherboard. You might also consider a 128 gig SSD main drive and getting a 1 tb drive for data.

Thats going to run about $1500 with S&H.

I read bigdogs post on the SSD I just dont think thats a good idea at the moment for the cost and the technology is some-what new. Unless you can recommend a good quality drive for the same price as the raptor.

I was looking at this. It is more expensive than the raptor but twice the read/write speeds

I'm going to take a stab in the dark here and guess that you have a MSI board?

    Re: New Gaming PC.

Just got an email from Newegg with a code for 15% off all internal/external/laptop HDDs...so, you could get 10krpm 300Gb velociraptor for ~$195. That sounds like a very good deal.
---NVM, the fine print says: maximum of $10 off with that code
    Still...
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
