    right, you dont need the the iphone 3.0 10$ update....but make sure you have it up to date with free updates, I know they fixed some crashing problems before.

    and a crash fixer is to turn your ipod completly off, (hold sleep button for 5 sec). I have had some trouble in the past using safari from the "google" app.
