    pshhh

If mr jinx says the sky the blue most of you will disagree and say its light blue just because its me :9

Anyways I have a high end overclocking mobo- Asus Rampage Formula and guess what? My keyboard is ps/2

    lol no not playstation 2.....

When it comes PCI plug/play hardware how much speed do you need and will it actually make a difference? Sure on paper the numbers will be higher but will it translate into faster speeds in game?

Well it does make a little bit of difference, but that is not the big point. The more types of connectors you have, the more types of bus controllers you need. If everything is PCI-E and USB 2.0 you minimize your chipset and the overhead in determining what chipset sends/receives what data to the bus. It is more of a matter of engineering simplicity and uniform standards than about PCI-E being faster...even though it is faster. Simple design means less things eat up overhead and less things to go wrong; fewer driver issues, etc.

I hope we see mobos with PCI-E/PCI-X and USB only soon.
