I've used Vista drivers in Windows 7 with some success... Wherever possible though, get Windows 7 drivers.

Thats a bit vague... Drivers for what? I havent had any issues with finding W7 (64 bit even) drivers for my hardware. Post what youre looking for and Ill delve into the search bin for a driver that works.

You should be able to find Creative Sound drivers, ATI/nVidia graphics drivers. I had to go to Intel to get my latest Motherboard drivers.

    Re: Windows 7 Driver

Thus far, the only Vista drivers I've tried in Windows 7 were for the webcam and the touchpad on my laptop. Everything else either worked out of the box or the vendor already has working Windows 7 drivers. Printer and scanner are 2 that I've not tried as of yet, but I rarely use them.

    Re: Windows 7 Driver

ASUS G51Vx - Mobo drivers... Video card (Windows update) seemed to work fine... I downloaded the drivers for the camera and some hotkey functions that seem to be working fine... Didn't have to install the drivers (basically third party software) for the wireless... Not sure what I'm missing though...

    That's why I asked :P

Usually, when I have a computer, it comes with a disk with my mobo drivers, and I have other disks that came with the other hardware with those drivers... but this time I don't is why I'm a little lost.

    Halp :P

    Re: Windows 7 Driver

Unless you have devices showing up as unknown or broken in device manager, what comes with Windows 7 should be adequate.
