Foobar2000 Help

So, now that I installed windows7, I figured it was time to switch from winamp to foobar.

Functionally, I've pretty much figured out how to do everything I want. Now i want to make it pretty.

Specifically, how do I apply themes that I can download (e.g. http://customize.org/foobar/skins/53847)

The .rar files come with some components (I know where to put those), some images (no idea) and no theme files with extension .fth, which is the only way I can see how to install a theme through the preferences menu.

Maybe I'm going about this all the wrong way? If some foobar guru would be willing to sit down on a steam chat (or xfire) with me and explain things to me, I'd be grateful.

Haha... you switched.

Which version of foobar are you using? The newest I assume? (9.6.9.) None of kongos' themes work with newer versions of foobar, because all of his themes use panels ui and it's no longer supported.

THIS SETUP DOES NOT WORK WITH FOOBAR2000 0.9.5.3 OR LATER!!!

If you want to use his themes, you have to use version 9.5.2.

Ok, i figured out how to get that working now, thanks. I don't actually like the layout of it, so I'll keep looking for one that I like that works with this version of foobar. But now I have a better idea of how to install these things. Thanks man!

Alright, I got a setup I'm happy with, for now.

Took me forever to realize that the friggin playback toolbar icons all have to be the same size. Had to convert them manually.
