    Batch File

To play SC on windows 7 without some super funky errors, you gotta close explorer.exe (the process).

How could I write a batch file to Open SC (I'm assuming run C:\Filepathto\Starcraft.exe)
And also close the process explorer.exe?

Thanks, is there a way to do an if/else in .bat files?
Like, when Starcraft.exe closes, restart explorer.exe?

Can't you run it in Windows XP mode? That is a big selling point for Windows 7. Read into it... I am pretty sure that should work.

That takes up a good bit of resources, where if I can just run it in W7 then I can avoid additional resource hogs, AND browse TTP

    Re: Batch File

This is why I'm waiting a year after W7 comes out. I need information, real information. Sounds like a lot of issues with games so far, videos on youtube look good. But why have to disable a .exe to play a game when you can click it and play? Thats ridiculous no matter how easy it is.

Just did a little searching on the net and I am assuming your colors are all jacked? One guy said he updated his drivers and everything worked fine. Another one mentioned patching the game as well. Might try that before killing explorer.exe
