    VIDEO CARD

I'll make it short and sweet. I play BF2. I have a nice system with 2 21" Samsung monitors. The video card is a Nvidia 9800xtx i believe 512mb.

What video card is out there thats a big upgrade that can support dual monitors.

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Re: VIDEO CARD

I'm sure a mod will move this as soon as they see this, but I'll go ahead and chime in

I'm running an ASUS GTX260TOPS I got at quakecon in a raffle and I couldn't be happier....l4d and borderlands run at high rezz with the graphics maxed out beautifully.

really, any card with DDR3 1gig or more would be an upgrade...I prefer ATI, but got the nvidia for free so I'm not complaining :-P

    Re: VIDEO CARD

Im surprised that your video card now doesnt support 2 monitors...

The next step up from the 9800 is the gtx 250/260.

    Re: VIDEO CARD

what do you mean by support dual monitor? The 9800gt and gtx should be able to push 2 monitors without issue, as well as any mid range or higher card

    Re: VIDEO CARD

At your resolution you won't need anything higher than 512mb. I would go with a 260 GTX. It's a nice mid range card that delivers excellent bang for the buck. If you care to spend a bit more cash. The 5850 from ATI will trump that while delivering DX11.
