I'm extremely satisfied with my ATI 4890 OC. But one will come out with something better and then the other will out do them.....big ol cycle! Got to love competition!!!!

well, if your going the distributors route I would say nvidia has stronger providers, BFG and EVGA are pillars but ATI has xfx now who stands right there with them.

Being the fastest does not matter. Any new card from either side will guarantee 60fps at all times.

What you need to look at is image quality and performance for the main games you play. Thats why they provide benchmarks for a wide range of games to let you pick which is the best for you.

I say with the games TTP hosts, best bet would be to go AT
