1600 is FASTER than 1333 outside of some very specific cases.

when they said the lower the number the better they meant the latency not the speed. 1600 if faster than 1333. Now inside of 1600 2-2-2-8 is faster than 4-4-4-8 I just made those numbers up. That is the latency of the ram. 2-2-2-8 has lower latency and faster response time 2 vs 4.

I will say that in all honesty all those numbers really dont mean jack or shit to you the video game playing man.

The different in FPS between 1333 and 1600 is in the 'less than 1%l range, and the different between 2-2-2-8 and 4-4-4-8 is tiny fractions of a percent.

All that crap will only matter if your a benchmark epeen competitor. Its good to pay attention to, but nothing worth obsessing over.

so what you are saying is: if I render a video that takes 1 hour to render with the slightly better ram I would be looking at 57 minutes instead of 60?
