By limit, I thought you mean all your users needed to hit it, so you would limit concurrent connections.
Plus, as always, I am limited by imagination of where I have worked, IP changes are done through reservations in DHCP if a fixed address is needed, and dynamic DNS always helps the end folk find the new location.
What do the customers use to connect to the connection management server? ODBC or something like it that requires an IP instead of host name.
You could have done some packet filtering instead if only two needed access.

Its an Icobol database so it does use an odbc connection..
Packet filtering would have worked but im currently against client side or inside int firewalls.. Well at least until sonic wall supports global nat with their vpn client.
