Win 7 Wireless Lag?
So just got windows 7 installed and I though, you know, I would play some TF2 or DoD but lo and behold BAM lag spikes! And not just 1 second of thinking fuck I hope no one sees me, 5-20 seconds of bouncing around, bad connection timers, and thinking fuck I hope no one sees me.
I know Vista and Vista Anti-Lag and that worked just great really. Was wondering if there was an equivalent for windows 7? Or is it something on my end?

802.11 g/b v1 USB, I put it in with a cable connected and windows 7 downloaded the driver for me. I assume it downloaded the most recent. According to the driver details the release date was 7/5/2007 version 2.0.2.12, clicked the "update driver" button and it said its up to date.

I've not noticed any lag with wireless under 7. I actually noticed improved network performance. My gaming rig is connected via a USB wireless G adapter (Belkin) and works fine. I am also running drivers provided by Windows Update. Wasn't supported out of the box, but a driver was available for download immediately.
They re-worked the TCP stack with Windows 7 so it's hard to say what utilities will/won't work or if there's been sufficient time for comparable utilities to be released.
