At home I rarely notice. At work I don't turn my computer off because I always have multiple things open. Lately I have been restarting FF every so often to clear it up.

That's the elitist attitude that stops people from using open-source software. Things should "just work", open source or not, where work means "it does it's job without annoying me". For some, that's using less resources.

Agreed. And the statement above coming from a Google guy, I know you are partial to Chrome, but I agree 100% that when you put a product on the market it shouldn't require a ton of optimizations to get it to function.
