Thread: Here we go again...

So here i am again posting from my phone because my comp wont star(what is this the 10th time now?)

I turn it on and the HD kicks on then my comp shuts off. the it kicks on again, does the same thing, and dies again. Rinse and repeat. Any ideas?

Check your power/infomation connections and try taking out the hard drive and replace it with another if you have one laying around. Does it even load the BIOS? If not its a CPU problem. If it does load the BIOS, does it get to the windows loading screen before stopping? You might have a software issue as well. PSU too small of a wattage to take it anymore? If so give us the Spec's and we can find out if it is.

From my experience it might be a wattage problem, i maybe wrong but it wount hurt to find out if the one hes got is too small and it's shot. But it could also be the wires and not the watt's, might be a short in the PSU that you cant see.

i had random restarts when the psu went out, hopefully it is that simple

Well, took a look in my comp and found my cpu was kinda fucked up looking. Couple of bent pens could that be it?

Bent pins= short in the circut board of it. It can be the problem, but if your computer loads the BOIS fine then its not a problem. What's your compute spec's, all the hardware? What wattage is your PSU? What brand?
