Re: Wireless Network ?
Hmmm, very puzzling. I seem to remember having a similar problem when I initially set up my Linksys router many years ago; I could connect to the network but not the internet. At the time, Linksys offered a small download that made some change in the settings and .... it worked! I never did figure out what, exactly, it did.
Which router are you dealing with?"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

Re: Wireless Network ?
I have a feeling this is a conflict between WZC (the built in wireless utility you see when you goto connect to->View available wireless networks) and the adapter's 3rd party utility.
Few options here.

WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!! :10 :10 :10 :10 :10 :10 :10 :10 :10 :10 :10 :10
Up and running!
The fix was easy......just ask {HRD}Slythern to come over and fix it.
The problem (as I understand it) was either the router wasn't giving it an IP address,or the desktop just wasn't getting it....for whatever reason. Sly gave it a static IP,and VIOLA!!!
Thank You again Sly....you are one hell of a nice guy for taking the time out of your day to come over and fix it for me. Muchos Gracias!
