Program to save youtube content ??

Is there a program that I can use to save Youtube Music. Nothing that is copyrighted .. just random people.

I have looked and found a few programs

audacity
vixey.net

and a few others but was wondering if anyone has done this before and what they use. I just want the audio and would like to be able to convert it to MP3 format.

I use a Firefox extension called "Better Youtube". It puts a clickable link on each YouTube page that lets you download the flash video.

I use this plugin, it gives you two links on every youtube page to convert the video to a regular or high-quality mp3. It's fantastic.

By default, YouTube doesn't provide access to directly download. You need to use some piece of software or an extension to your browser to do so. I think Better Youtube requires Greasemonkey to be installed as well.

I try looking for stuff like that. I end up clicking on a link with like 14 views of Kraker wearing a wig and lipstick as he lips Lady Gaga in the mirror. That's when I call it a night...
