Thread: Windows 7 Nvidia GPU TDR Fix?

I believe that it is what is causing my BSOD problems, and have read that since vista alot of Nvidia cards/drivers have had TDR problems, Anyone else have them, or know how to fix them.

TDR= Timeout Detection & Recovery

All I know about it is it has something to do with how long your OS waits for a ping response from your GPU to prevent further error, When the card takes too long to respond, It assumes it isn't there and triggers a BSOD to prevent further damage/errors, Once the comp is reset by the BSOD it can see the GPU.

Thats what I need help with, From what I can find, No.

I think it can only be fixed on Nvidia's driver end, With only standard win 7 VGA Drivers installed I boot fine.
