Sounds like I'm glad I didn't try it on Server 2008 non R2... Definitely wouldn't want a production server assploding all over hell since that is based on the vista core.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

Tried this in Vista 64... now it wants to restart Explorer everytime I go to my HDD. Care to post how to fix it?

Beauty! W7 Home premium 64bit. Works like a charm, just pinned it to the taskbar.

It doesn't CHANGE the operating system or internet explorer in any way. Basically all it does it give you access to all of the little hidden administrative tools, control panel apps, etc in one place. It wouldn't have modified IE.

    Re: Windows 7/vista trick

Steps to resolve issue if you did this in Vista x64.
    1. bring up task manager (ctrl+alt+del)
    2. go to file then new task
    3. type in cmd
    4. type cd /users/windowsusernamehere/desktop
    5. type rmdir god hit tab key to autofill or type in the entire string of characters if you wish and enter
    6. you should have a stable explorer
