This is cheaper as well....I would definitely get this guy instead and dual boot a lightweight linux and win 7 - full functionality with win 7 if necessary, streamlined interface with linux for just farting around. Im sure you could even get it to look like the iphone os 3.2 but give it the ability to multitask. Maybe even just get android on it for kicks.

Get vonage and a bluetooth earpiece/mic and you are already one step ahead of this Ipad thing. The first eee pcs had their own distro of linux standard. Vonage is just now coming out with an app for iphone so you can get around long distance charges by using voip wifi.

After 20 days, just 5% (!!!) of paid for applications are actually being used. And the numbers are way worse for free apps.

*sigh* Im guilty...

I have an iTouch and I bought a few apps, and got a whole bunch of free ones. Used once, never again. xP

gizmodo has a free iphone app (or two sometimes) every single day. These are sometimes very good games that are usually 1-3 dollars apiece. They just have these semi-hidden little sales every day that if you aren't watching for them you don't know about. I've gotten quite a few good apps for the iphone like this without charge.
