Not an apple fanboy but I'm eyeballing this thing hard. Some of the stuff in the patents released this morning looks incredible.

I covet an iphone, but I'm really glad that I don't have one. For one thing I would be bankrupt from buying stupid apps that I never needed or will ever use.

(Did you know that some ridiculously high portion of iPhone apps are purchased, used once and then never used again? I'll see if I can dig up the stat.)

After 20 days, just 5% (!!!) of paid for applications are actually being used. And the numbers are way worse for free apps.

yawn. another tablet. whoopdie doodle. Late to the game apple. And if it costs (and it will) as much more than a PC-version of the tablet that's existed for years now....then it will be yet another fringe market.

It's pretty pathetic, too. Apple really should have been right on the ball with this as soon as the IPhone was going into final production stages.

They are late to the ball game, and a six pack short.
