Re: Need Volunteers!
For those of you experiencing problems with the installer version, ill be releasing a patch (will dl and install automatically, when you launch the program) sometime tomorrow that will just dump the files to your desktop. Currently using windows installer, it puts the files in crazy ass locations
ex XP:
E:\Documents and Settings\Bunni\Local Settings\Apps\2.0\0RRQ9JA3.QZE\2KBO1XAN.1YL\eadh.. tion_7bcdddb32a4a9015_0001.0000_43112913a2572c0f
Vista:
L:\Users\Bunni\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\EBYWXY7N.LE0 \940N387L.DOV
The free run works fine, but the installer obviously needs to have files generated in a reachable place, this is what i get for using Microsoft's installer system :3 Goes to prove if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.
Update should be released tomorrow, ill make a most, thanks to those who submitted their's already!!!!!

Re: Need Volunteers!
Sent. Hope that threshold stuff doesn't look too hard at hard drives. Cuz I'm swapping 4 of those eight in and out all the time. I have 4 hot swap bays with 1.5 terabyte drives in them, and an external dock that currently doesn't have anything in it but sometimes does.

Re: Need Volunteers!
mk application updated, if you have the installed version, merely launch it and it will automatically update. If you have the portable version, redownload it from the link in the first post.
Updates:
- Added automated file upload system for generated files
- After generating the dat files a new window will pop up, displaying the contents of the 3 generated files. Allowing the user to browse their content and confirm or deny which files they want to be uploaded
- Confirmed files will be uploaded automatically
- If for some reason the upload fails users will be given the option to open the folder in which the archive lies, so that they can upload the file manually
Instructions:
After installing/downloading-and-extracting and launching the application: You will see 3 progress bars and a button that says "Start!", click this button to start generating the files. After the files finish generating the progress bars will be full and a green checkmark will appear to the right of the start button. A new window will open explaining the file confirmation system, click the "OK" button on it to proceed.
The file confirmation window will popup, with the contents of each generated file displayed. After looking through the files, hit the confirm button below each to mark that file for uploading. When you have confirmed all the files you wish to be uploaded, hit the "Upload Files" button. If all goes well, you should see a new window appeared titled "Uploading File" which should be displaying the status of the files uploading.
If for some reason (ex application cannot connect to the server to upload files because its being blocked by firewall/router/etc) this does not occur, an error message should appear explaining why, or at the very least the techy dump of what happened (if this occurs please send me a screenshot of this or copy n paste the error). If an error occurs while uploading the file, you will be given the option to open folder in which the generated files reside so you can manually upload them. If this happens, please open the folder and send me the most recent .tar file in that folder!
Thanks again guys!
