They do, but if your going from 32 to 64 or vice versa, you HAVE to have the bootable DVD.

Yes, and they have downloadable ISO's which you can use you make bootable DVD's.

Yup, that's what I did. Download the ISO, turned ISO into DVD, installed fresh copy (even though it specifically said I was buying the upgrade) I was still able to do a clean install.

For those saying you have to have a DVD, I know there are 4 Win7 CD's out there that are like (insert disk 2) type crap.

I got the Student Offer for Win7 and I also purchased the backup DVD. It's only 1 disc for me.

I also created a bootable USB drive with the Win7 ISO. Win-win.

Installed and all working great. A LOT more painless than Vista. Installing the Nvidia video device drivers was weird though.....no more task bar icon and setting thing apparently.

Only problem I have had so far is that I forgot to backup my bookmarks. DOH!

right click on the desktop and the nvidia app option should be listed there. It doesn't start automatically in windows 7 but it's there if you need it.
