    From what I've seen, if you want i7 liquid cooling won't work as all of the liquid cooling systems aren't compatible.
    They should work fine. There are i7 blocks, which is all you need...

    Intel released some 'mainstream' drives now that are on the smallish side that are fairly affordable. Really only room for the OS and a few key apps (games).

    Random reads are where it's at and yeah the Intel SSDs are still king of hill in that regard. But, Kingston did release some smaller 40Gb drives using the same components as intel for less $$. As WileE said, enough room for the OS and a few frequently used apps.

    Intel has some too. Not as high-performing as their previous offerings, but on par with the Kingston.
