Please Vote: How many active passwords do you have?
Never use the same password between all websites, a malicious webadmin could con you into registering on his site, then using the password you inputted to go on a rampage!

At one time I used one pw for everything. Since then I have added a couple more. One simple one for bs sites. A somewhat complex one for email and TTP, fairly complex pw for banking and other things where money is involved. And a super duper complex one cause a govt website I use requires all kinds of special characters and such.

I used to use a small set of passes, depending on security. Then one of them was broken. Luckily, what they "stole" was my 2-year-dormant WoW account, which was suspended inside of an hour.
Now I use a different password for every site, in the same pattern as before but with much, much harder words to decipher.

If it's something that matters... I have unique passwords. Depending on the level of sensitivity of the data, I'll ramp up my complexity/length. If it's especially sensitive, I'll change the password regularly (if it doesn't get changed already.)
If it's a random website I'll use my 'default' password, which is still complex, but one less password I need to remember.
I store all of my passwords in an encrypted password database which itself has a long & complex password.
All told... I have probably 50 or so unique passwords.
That's just personal stuff... I have another 20-30 for work. All are unique. All change every 30 days.
