    Internal Laptop Blu-Ray Player

So since my other question was answered so quickly, I changed the topic to this.
I'm trying to find an internal blu-ray dvd player for my laptop... I've searched for this before but have only come up with external ones...
    My questions are:
    -Does it exist?
-Does it have to be made for my laptop specifically?

My NVidia GTX 260m says it can support up to 2048x1536 (4:3) but if I got a monitor, it would likely be 16:9 or 16:10. I was curious if there was a resolution at 2048x1152 AND since it can support 2048x1536, could it support 2048x1152?

I'm totally uneducated on how monitors work... so that's why I'm asking you...
(This has also come after google).

    Re: Can my video card...

You want to run your resolution at the native resolution for your monitor. When shopping for a new monitor, it should tell you the native resolution. Most common are 1680x1050 and 1920x1080. You should probably get the latter as it is a wider screen format and slightly higher resolution. Plus, 1080p video will feel right at home.

Yea... The thing is, I'd have to get a blu-ray player in my laptop... and I've still been searching for one of those...

But thanks for the tip. Was just gonna buy a monitor to "transform" my laptop into a desktop when I'm at home. :P

    Re: Internal Laptop Blu-Ray Player

So I found that my laptop takes:
    Optical Drive 5.25", 12.7mm

    And then I found:
    http://mac.macrecycling.com/bluray-p...-p-101463.html

I can't figure out if the dimensions are correct... so would this work (Assuming it works on Windows 7 as well as vista)?
