Optimizing NVidia Video Cards

So I had never heard about this before... never knew this even existed... until yesterday.
I opened up the NVidia control panel, went through and modified my settings, and ho-ly-shat.

My FPS ( in games like shattered horizion, BC2, etc ) jumped 3 fold... They rose from 15-20 ( Shattered Horizon ) to 30-50!

So, I was so impressed by this I felt I should share how to do this with the world, article style. But the thing is, I need help. Someone who knows what their doing; someone who has done this before.

So would anyone like to help me?
I would prefer you have a microphone.

im interested to see what it was you changed on the nvidia control panel to make it jump. I've got a 9800gt and can only get maybe around 140 tops fps on css.

Got just a rough idea of what it was you changed?

I put an article out, be watching for it in the next few days. (I think they publish on tuesdays?)
