Well uhh, my rig has been running for about 2 years. Pretty aged, but still running smoothly, hopefully my next upgrade will be the BD chips. (Bulldozer)

AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.6 stock voltage (Had it @ 4.0ghz but I didn't need it running that high 24/7)

That CPU should still be good for a while. Instead, why don't you upgrade your GPU?

Well because my 5850 is overclocked to match the performance of a 5870. And I'm waiting for the 28nm 7xxx series AMD cards to come in, or Kepler depending on how good they'll be.

The 5850 is a good card. You should be fine for a while.

Silly, why not get the 2500K if HT doesn't really matter in gaming. And exactly which Gigabyte board is it? B3 is the revision for Cougar Point.

Motherboard serial is P67A-UD3-B3, and i didnt get the 2500k because i do other stuff than gaming

Hmmm @ 16x/4x it won't take a huge hit, but Crossfire takes a 18% hit (according to the 6970) when run in 16x/4x.

Got a Blu-Ray drive finally! Got it when it was on sale last week. Sale for $64, got it for $58 with a 20% discount I had from NewEgg. First Optical drive I have bought in a looooong time.
