For the first time in history she has a faster rig than I do, so yes she is "pleased". I did get a few toys for myself. Got 2 of the same 27inch 144hz qhd gaming monitors, also got a gtx980 (upgrade from 780) and I kicked my rig from 16 to 32gb of ram as well.

The m.2 SSDs are amazingly fast.

This is the first cube I have ever built. What you don't see in the photo is the power supply and cabling. There is a area on the backside of the motherboard that houses it. Makes cable management a breeze and zero heat from the power supply to impact the main cavity.

I also have a corsair heat synch/fan that goes over the memory but that single fan was louder by itself than the entire case is when idle. So I left it off. The ram already has heat spreaders on them so the fan was rather redundant anyway since I am not overclocking it.

Lots of new stuff now, same dirty-ass desk. Doesn't help that the desk is real oak (With the finish slowly being scraped away) and is cheaper than actually buying a new desk.

New stuff:

• Vivo Dual Monitor stand: also built like a tank. Has cool swivel features that let me make either monitor portrait whenever I want. Not to mention being able to have the monitors sit next to each other at eye-level. Extra desk space is an added bonus.
• That small case by my headphones is the Antlion Mod Mic 2.0. Attaches to a magnetic base attached to my headphones. Nice quality microphone.
• The computer finally gets to sit on a separate table to get it off the damn carpeted floor.
• The obvious addition of a new monitor: the LG 24GM77 144hz monitor. Has the best implementation of a backlight strobe (for reduces motion blur) currently. Fantastic monitor.
• From an HIS R9 285 to a XFX R9 390: Thanks to recent Tom's Hardware article, you can undervolt the SHIT out of these things and keep them stable. I'm at -75mV offset from base with no other tweaks. Completely stable.
• I went back to my CM Storm Recon because the Omen was starting to develop jitters.
• I also got a Corsair gaming mousepad to try and fix the Omen's jitters. Didn't work so I went back to the Recon, and mice just glide on this thing.
• And finally, an upgrade from the JVC HA-RX900's to a pair of Sennheiser HD 558's. Wonderful headphones.

I dig your case. It reminds me of the HAF932 I used to have, only more reasonably sized.

Looks like kitty has a decent spot as well.

Ironically, the HAF XM has probably one of the better designs both internally and externally that Cooler Master made, but they discontinued the model less than a year after introducing it. It's a fantastic case with hot-swap drive bays, an optionally coverable PSU slot, radiator support, 200mm fan support for everywhere except the 140mm back, and a hinged side panel instead of a slide-on. I've always wanted to recommend this case to people but apparently CM thought it wasn't good.

And yes, kitty likes to hide under things.

Nice upgrades. I've had a messy desk for so long that I've started getting vesa mounts for my monitors and going slightly nuts on cable management.

Also, excellent choice with those sennheisers - I was looking at a pair of those as well buy I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet.

What are your thoughts on them so far? I'd be curious to know if you would recommend them.

They're great. They have a detachable headphone cord, spacious ear cups, and high quality sound. They're also compact and lightweight. They took some serious burn in to sound right, and they're a little weak on the upper mids, but are otherwise great.
