The 4890 can definitely run BC2.

My only concern is the price tag. I understand that you get what you pay for, but at the moment I don't have a whole lot to pay with.

Awesome find, thanks. Well, it has been about 3 years or so since I built my machine. Maybe its finally time for a full upgrade. I mean my specs aren't that terrible, but I'm going to need to upgrade here soon anyway I guess...

4890 is significantly faster than the 5750... if you can spend 200, go with it. If you want to spend slightly less, look at the 5770.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

I'd go with a 5770 over the 5750 or the 4890. Current generation (DX11) card and not THAT much slower than the 4890.

    http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2...ny-2,2111.html

    That shows BFBC2 at 1680x1050 4xAA 8xAF High quality.

I'm not sure when Tom's ran those benchmarks but I believe they must have been prior to the latest driver because my 5850 on high quality will avg. 70 fps

Sounds like a winner, after some further evaluation I've decided I'm going to spend at max $200 for my new card... my bank account just yelped haha
