Moving target Keyboard issue
Moving Target- the user- is having trouble with his keyboard. He say's he's using "the round connector" Which I take to mean his keyboard is PS/2 interface.
The problem is when he connects his keyboard he finds his computer acted strangely. First the issue was with a few keys like W and D. After a reboot both mouse and keyboard would not work as they should. Any suggestions? What could be causing this issue?
A side note, he says that he used an adapter to allow his keyboard to be used a as USB but his computer would not recognize it.

ok got the adapter working now. had to use a differnt keyboard. yeah this is friggen wierd i thought maybe it was the computer. so i had unpluged keyboard and mouse plugged mouse back.
in but when i would plug in keyboard to the round slot it would freeze up. did this plug/port somehow get fried? i remember i had stoped using the usb adapter. cause it wouldnt work in the set up menu
but what worries me is this the first in a string of hardware problems ?

Re: Moving target Keyboard issue
Could be key rollover. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollover_%28key%29
That fits what you are describing, but it is not something that would have just started at random. You mention that you switched from usb to ps2 connector, did that coincide with the problem beginning?

Re: Moving target Keyboard issue
nah i had to switch out keyboards cause of the problem. i was playin bf2 and then i just stoped being able to strafe walk forward. or drive and turn so i rebooted and niether mouse or board would work.
so i tied a diff keyboard that didnt work. someone told me to uninstal so that worked with the other board not freezing my mouse/board.
maybe this rollever/phantom key thing is what happend since my pc would give alota beeps when i'd boot it up nothing in the article bout a fix is there one ?
