I see 10.6 is out.

There were issues with the 10.5 drivers. They issued a 10.5a but I think the issue was with older 4xxx 3xxx and 2xxx GPUs not the 5xxx ones. May need to go grab 10.6.

This is the message it gives me when I try to download 10.6

Guess I will try again in a couple of hours.

Got the 10.6 drivers and did a un-install.

Every time I try to install the computer just restarts.

3870's are in. All the screen tearing and spots have gone away.....

Seems it is the 5870.

Well its under warranty so time to create a ticket. Maybe I will luck out and receive a newer model.

Looks like Artifacts. What are the temperatures on your GPU? I'd say that's definitly a video card problem.
