    Graphics card comparison

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...Cws8A21b4o.rtA

Can get it for $20 after rebates and such

How much of an upgrade would that be vs. an Nvidia 8800 gts (640mb)?

    Processor is E6600

nVidia has a really bad habit of taking old cards and rebranding them to their 'new' model lineup. Anything less than a GTS 250 would not outperform your GTS 8800. The GTS 250 is a re-branded 9800GTX+

Looks like a downgrade going by the chart. Instead I would save those pennies.

You could try a HD5770, which would be the equivalent of a GTX260; the only difference is the HD5770 has DX11.

I second this. The HD5770 is a good card for the money. Better yet, get a couple of them in CrossfireX!
