    Yes, it kills known malware processes that under normal circumstances can avoid malwarebytes when they are active. I use rkill anytime a customer has any virus of malware problems before attempting removal. To my experience it works ad advertised.

    (I would post it but you should get credit for finding it).

    Of interest, the developer states that he updates the program nearly every day, so a fresh copy of rkill should be downloaded any time it's needed.
